Our conviction

Your job is to move a project forward and rally the people behind it. Not to fill in spreadsheets.

The sponsor wants green lights. The business wants solutions, as long as nothing changes. The tech team asks to be left alone to work. Management wants a plan. And you, in the middle, hold it all together.

But before you can even lead, you have to catch everything flying around the project: an email, a remark dropped in a meeting, a document, a decision made in a hallway. Break it down, then retype it line after line into two or three Excel files, just to keep a clear, current view.

Then comes the steering committee, and it all runs in reverse. Reopen every file, dig out what matters, reshape and reorder it until it tells a story.

Those hours never led a project. They pull you away from what matters: getting people who see the project differently to move forward together. Invisible work, absent from the Gantt chart and from your job description. Yet it is what separates a project that ships from a project that sinks.

Toolbox exists to give you that time back.

Information goes in once, files itself, and comes out organized the day you need it. No more chasing updates, retyping tables by hand, rebuilding decks the night before, or losing the lessons of the last project.

You keep the one thing no tool will ever do for you: leading the project. The rest is our job.

Before Toolbox · the daily grind

Feed everything into your tools one day... pull it all back out the next

Every source produces information to sort, file and retype, piece by piece. Then before every steering committee, the same in reverse: reopen, retrieve, reformat.

Where Ctrl Alt | Toolbox comes from

The tool I wish I'd had back then.

For almost twenty years, I worked at the heart of projects. First as a project manager, then leading operations and delivery for a systems integrator, on digital transformation and document management projects.

I met brilliant project managers there, in my teams and at my clients. They had the contact, the field instinct and the ability to move forward teams who each saw the project differently. Yet in this job, we spend far too many days, and far too many SteerCo eves, retyping information instead of using it.

Toolbox was born from that. It is the tool I wish I could have had and given to my teams: the one that takes on the information handling and gives back the time to lead.

It is now in beta, being tested in a first company. And it is built alongside the project managers and delivery leads who join the waitlist: their day-to-day shapes the roadmap.

And because a project must be delivered and adopted, I also help organizations with change management at Ctrl Alt Coaching (in French).

Frequently asked questions

What you're probably wondering

Does it replace my planning tool / my Gantt?
No. Toolbox handles everything that lives outside the Gantt: risks, decisions, actions, RACI, minutes, deliverables, SteerCos. Your schedule stays where it is; Toolbox structures and standardizes the rest.
We already have our own templates and methods.
Exactly: Toolbox equips them and applies them consistently across all your projects, and the copilot draws on your in-house practices.
Does the whole team need access?
Not necessarily: you can assign actions to your colleagues and follow up without them needing an account.
Do I need to install anything?
No, it is 100% web-based.
Is my data safe?
Each organization is isolated on a dedicated instance.
